Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to post?
As a rule of thumb according to benchmarks: LinkedIn Tuesday to Thursday mornings, X on weekday mornings and around noon, Instagram at lunchtime and in the evening (weekends included), Facebook at midday and in the early evening, Bluesky in the evening. The heatmap shows all 168 hours in detail.
Where does the data come from?
From aggregated, widely known social media benchmarks, editorially combined into a 0–100 grid. These are industry averages — not a measurement of your account and no guarantee.
Does the heatmap apply to my timezone?
All times refer to Europe/Berlin (Germany, Austria, Switzerland — CET/CEST). If your audience lives in a different timezone, shift the windows accordingly.
Is the best time the same for every account?
No. Industry, audience and format shift the patterns significantly. Benchmarks are a starting point — the most reliable answer comes from your own post data, which PostPublify analyzes for connected channels.
Is my data uploaded?
No. The tool runs 100% in your browser with static benchmark data — no upload, no login, no tracking.
